Benefits of getting your hedges cut
1. Pruning hedges helps to control the size of the plant, reducing the need for watering and fertilising, they can also help trap moisture in the soil, making it less necessary to water as regularly.
2. Trimming hedges regularly helps keep them healthy and free of pests and diseases.
3. Hedges can also be used as a visual barrier around your gardens or pathways of your house, they can also be used as windbreaks to protect plants from strong gusts of wind.

FAQs
Take a look at some of the most frequently asked question when it comes to our hedge cutting service.
When should I have my hedges trimmed?
New hedges require formative pruning for their first couple of years after planting. Formative pruning is usually carried out in winter or early spring. After this, maintenance trimming is carried out, usually once a year for informal hedges and twice a year for formal hedges. Some formal hedges may need three cuts a year.
How will my hedges be trimmed?
Hand-held hedge shears are fine for smaller hedges, but for large hedges you'll probably find it easier to use an electric or petrol hedge trimmer. No matter what you use always make sure the equipment is sharp and well lubricated.
How is the cost for garden work calculated?
Ours is an hourly based service. You pay only for the amount of time the gardeners spent at your property.

We are writing to thank you, Lee and Sam for the excellent job you have completed at our home. In total, it has been a large project and I am not sorry to lose all than Bamboo. The final result is splendid and I know our parents who have also recently been in touch with Lee about their garden will think the same. Thank you so much.
